Kiwanis Winterfest   February  13         Camp Brule Estella, Sullivan County

The Kiwanis Winterfest will be held at Camp Brule' near Forksville, off Route 154 north of Estella. on Saturday Feb. 14. This one-day festival features a dog sled race, horse drawn sleighs or buggy rides, refreshments, ice carving, vendors, games and a children's art show.

Heart of Lewisburg Ice Festival    February 5-6      Lewisburg, Union County

Lewisburg is the home of Bucknell University in central Pennsylvania. Tons of sparkling ice art will grace downtown Market Street, with larger interactive sculptures in Hufnagle Park dedicated to kids. The award winning First Night Ice Sculptors, who carve the State College First Night, will create the ice art. Beautiful historic homes, tree-lined, lamp lit streets and a distinctive downtown shopping district provide the perfect backdrop to the Heart of Lewisburg Ice Festival.

Winterfest             February 13 - 21, 2010       7 Springs Resort, Seven Springs, Somerset County

Celebrating its 23rd year, Pittsburgh’s ABC affiliate WTAE-TV Channel 4 and Seven Springs Mountain Resort continue their Winterfest tradition of festivities Feb. 13 - 21, 2010. The Seven Springs/WTAE–TV Winterfest is an annual event showcasing all types of snow and slope activities to help guests enjoy the winter temperatures, deep snow and even the shorter days!  Snow tubing, on-snow races, silly challenges and other fun activities are designed to thrill skiers and boarders of all ages and abilities.

4th & 5th Graders ski for free!

Any child in the 4th or 5th grade can ski for free at all  22 participating ski areas in teh state of PA with the 4th & 5th grade snowpass! (when accompanied by a paying adult)

Don't worry if you haven't skied before either, the first time, you can go free too!

Family Fun Matinee    February 6, 2010      Grasso's Magic Theater, Philadelphia

A great family magic show for the entire family. Watch the kids go up on stage and perform with the magicians and have a time they will never forget. 3 great magicians performing comedy and magic that will have you wondering. Don't miss this show because tickets will go fast. Its a 50 seat theatre and up close so make your reservations early. Last two shows sold out.  Kiddos tickets are $15, Adults are $20.

If You Give a Kid a Pancake    February 6, 2010      Walnut Street Theater, Philadelphia

Kids love this madcap musical based on their favorite stories including Diary of a Worm, Fluffy the Classroom Guinea Pig, Horace & Morris but Mostly Delores, If You Give a Pig a Pancake, Lilly's Big Day and The Paper Bag Princess. Shows at 10:30AM, 1PM and 3:30PM. Tickets are $10-$14
