Kids Fun Weekend    July 27-28, 2013              Kempton & Southern Train, Kempton, Berks County

Once each year, the WK&S hosts its "Kids' Fun Weekend" with "lots of extras" besides the regular train excursions. Included with the price of your train ticket, you can take a ride on a motorcar,  enjoy the "Recycled Railroad" display, and have a delicious Ice Cream treat. The Schuylkill & Lehigh  Model Railroad club will be open in the former Atlantic City Railway coach located behind the station. More..

Reservations not required, normal departures at 12, 1,2,3,& 4 PM each day.  Tickets:  Adults: $9.00, Children 3-11:  $5.00

About Kempton & Southern Railroad

Established in 1963, the WK&S is located in the scenic village of Kempton, Pennsylvania which is in Berks County. Also known as the "Hawk Mountain Line" because of our proximity to the famous bird sanctuary.  The quiet, rural setting adds to the quaint old-time atmosphere that appeals to families and children of all ages.
