Churchville Nature Center                                         Churchville, Bucks County

This is a great place to go with the kiddos.  Programs all year long like Campfire Stories, Pond Study, Butterfly Counting and more.  The Churchville Nature Center is also home to the Lenape Village.  Kiddos and parents alike walk through a Lenape Village replica and learn about the daily life of the first settlers on this land.

The 54 acre facility includes a  visitor center with nature displays, gift shop and bird watching area, 2 miles of nature trails that wander through a variety of habitats, a re-created 1500 era Lenape Indian Village and coming summer 2010 a children's natural play area. The center provides programs for indiviuals, families, school groups, scouts and more. Visitor Center Hours: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm Tuesday through Sunday (Closed Monday) Trails are open sun-up to sun-down all year.
