Little Known Fact:  The Scranton St. Patrick's Day Parade is the second largest parade in the country, as measured by participants per population of the city in which it's held*. Savannah, GA is first, New York City was third.The parade steps off Saturday at 11:45 a.m. on Wyoming Avenue near Mulberry Street.

 

The route will continue down Wyoming Avenue to Lackawanna Avenue, turn left on Lackawanna and head up to Jefferson Avenue, where it will cut over to Spruce Street in front of the Radisson at Lackawanna Station hotel. The parade will move down Spruce, turning right on North Washington Avenue, passing the reviewing stand in front of the Lackawanna County Courthouse.
