Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts   July 11-15, 2012   State College, Centre County

As a Penn State Alum, this one has a special place in my heart. The Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts will bring over 125,000 people (yes, you read that correctly, it is HUGE)  to downtown State College and the University Park campus of Penn State. Join the crowd in celebrating the arts with its nationally recognized Sidewalk Sale and Exhibition, gallery exhibition, sand sculpture and music, dance and theatrical performances in a variety of traditional and non-traditional venues. Children's Day is July 11th!

Tons of art, music & entertainment, food and shopping along the streets of State College. It really is a treat for adults and children alike.  Plus, the people you meet will all be really nice. That is always a plus.

• Ice cream at the Creamery. . really super great
• Get your picture taken at the PSU shrine. . we call it the Nittany Lion.
• Beaver Stadium, where the greatest team in college football plays (ok, I  am biased)\
• Visit to McLanahans. . they have everything. really.
