First things, first, thanks Cheri for divulging the name of your family vacation spot. It has everything. . lake, sandy beach, amusement rides, boating, fishing, activities for kids, rentals and more. Honestly, looking at the site is like looking at the set of "Dirty Dancing". Hmm, didn't see dance lessons. .Anyway, Conneaut Lake is no secret to those on the left side of ol PA, but east coasters. . .listen up!

Conneaut Lake is the largest natural glacier lake in Pennsylvania. Pretty cool huh?  Surrounding are a ton of things to do. . but the highlight is definitely Conneaut Lake Park.

Conneaut Lake Park is one of the great attractions of the Conneaut Lake Area. This 114 year old historic amusement park located on Pennsylvania's largest natural lake. Includes Amusement Park and rides, historic Blue Streak wooden roller coaster, kiddieland and a pony track.   The Hotel Conneaut located within the park has lodging as well as a restuarant, Beach Club, Sandy Public Beach, and a Convention Hall.
