Scarecrow Festival September 21 -22, 2013 Peddler's Village, Lahaska, Bucks County
Just thinking about the Scarecrow festival brings a smile to my face. I worked at Hart's Tavern while in grad school and I always looked forward to the Scarecrow Festival. The paths along the village have scarecrows made by organizations, children's groups and businesses. . . and some of them are pretty darn creative. Funny too. There is always plenty to do. . live entertainment and the food is great. . and I think the apple cider drinks are on the menu for the season too.

Check out the police booth. . they take the kid's photo in a car or in jail. . it is really cute. And the chicken dinner is super good. Fun too. Nice to eat in the big cafeteria like building with all those nice people. Oh, and don't forget the pick up some awesome salsa, it is homemade and it rocks.
