Apple & Cheese Festival   October 5-6, 2013, 10AM to 6PM    Canton,  Bradford County

Who does not love Apple and Cheese? Alone or together.  Go grab a bite at the Apple & Cheese Festival! This two-day festival, held annually the first full weekend in October, is a true whole family activity.   A children’s area has a children’s garden, live animals, pumpkin decorating stations, painting and a  hay maze. Entertaining clowns roam the site and have balloon creations or other items for the children.

Sullivan County Fair         August 28-September 2, 2013      Forksville, Sullivan County

There is plenty to do at the Sullivan Fair.  Super pretty place too. Sullivan County Fair has a demolition derby,  a Stunt Show with BMX riders flying all about, carnival rides, great fair food, crafts, a vaudeville show and plenty of cool activities.  Sunday - September 2nd Kids Day -- All school age children special ride wristband $6.00 until 5 pm -- includes all rides all day.

Blueberry Fields Festival   August 3-4, 2013      New Albany, Sullivan County

The Blueberry Fields Festival is open Saturday 10:00am to 6:00pm Sunday 1:00pm to 5:00pm complete with Live Music;  Tractor wagon rides to the farm with a tour of our farm production facilities (barn, hoop, green house, garden. orchard), guest house, dining room, and farm store; Games; Horse drawn  surry rides; Blueberry Picking: Eating: Shopping; and more.

Sinking Valley Fair                  September 10-14, 2013                Tipton, Blair County

Annual agricultural fair with garden tractor races, food, produce and livestock exhibits, live entertainment, food vendors and more.  We should note, this event does not feature a midway or carnival and therefore focuses on all things farming - it's all about competition, camaraderie among friends, and just good fun and festivities.

Huntingdon County Fair       August 4-10, 2013                Huntingdon, Huntingdon County

This fair is over 140 years old, and is known as the premiere agricultural exposition in Pennsylvania!  Of course there will be lots of agricultural exhibits, including livestock, fruits of the harvest, and baked goods.  There will also be carnival rides, a demolition derby, truck pulls, and live entertainment all week long.

Pennsylvania Blues Festival     July 26-28, 2013        Palmerton, Carbon County

Blue Mountain Ski Area proudly announces the return of the Pennsylvania Blues Festival in July 2013, "Celebrating 22 years of Blues in the Poconos."

St. Paul's Italian Festival          August 9-10, 2013        Erie, Erie County

This festival celebrates the "Feast of the Assumption," and features live entertainment each day, plenty of delicious, authentic Italian foods, games of chance, Bingo, children's activities, homemade pasta and pastry, and best of all a celebration of the Italian culture and a place to see old friends.  Saturday will feature a blessing of pets, and new activities for children.

Big Butler Fair       June 28-July 6, 2013            Prospect, Butler County

I grew up going to this fair, and I can assure you, it earns its name! The Big Butler Fair is the largest fair in Western, PA and considered by many to be the best fair in the country. Bedford Fall Festival               October 5-6 & 12-13, 2013            Bedford, Bedford County

The Fall Festival in Bedford County is a twofer.  Hit the festival for some fun activities and then catch mother nature at work in the trees. At the Fort Bedford Park, Middle Earth Studios presents an audience participation and puppet theater. Farmer's Fair        October 2-5, 2013       New Holland, Lancaster County

Every year the streets of New Holland close to traffic and the center of town transforms into a celebration of farm and community.  The crisp autumn air is sweetened with funnel cake, hot cinnamon rolls, and cotton candy.  Laughter rings out and dazzling lights shine on the midway filled with thrilling rides and games of chance.
