Pretty cool story. The Smith Playhouse was built in 1899 and was built as a playhouse. . not a residential house.  There are 2 playareas. .the playhouse and the outdoor playground.  There are boulders to climb, see-saws, giant jungle gyms, net climbers, giant wooden slide, a playhouse train, make-believe town with bikes and tricycles for transportation, foam blocks room, play kitchen house, activity center and a TOT LOT for kiddos under 5. . there really is a ton to do.

The township has a terrific parks which features ball fields, basketball courts, a children's playground,  a picnic pavillion and notably, covered bridges that lead to a fabulous walking trail.  PLUS During the winter months residents can take advantage of a skating rink or take advantage of the sledding hill.

This is one of Bucks County's hidden gems.  If you are looking for an out of the way park with a playground, pavillion, grills and a POOL. . then look no more. Tohickon Valley County Park is your place. There are even cabins you can rent!

Village Ice Rink at Blue Spring Park                 Winter                   Boalsburg, Centre County

Getting cabin fever? Bundle up and head outdoors to the Village Ice Rink at Blue Spring Park for some ice skating or hockey!  The on-ground ice rink is totally dependent on weather and the commitment of commujnity volunteers to maintain the ice.  There are "Hockey Only" times posted at the rink.

Warwick Township Community Park. . . commonly referred to as the Water Park.

Spring Summer winter or fall, this park is great.  Whether you are hanging out for an hour or two, or you are making a day of it. . this park will keep everyone entertained. Plenty of slides and forts and swings and things to climb on for the kids, and plenty of moms to chat with.
