Guests visiting the zoo this Spring and Summer will have the chance to enjoy monthly educational programs hosted by the Elmwood Park Zoo Docents. Entitled “Wild Adventures,” these unique presentations offer insight into different aspects of the natural world around us. We’ll reveal all of the different animals that rely on trees for their food.

Sea Turtle Overnight    June 21-22, 2013, 6pm-9am      Pittsburgh, Allegheny County

 Oh my gosh, how fun would this be?? A sleepover at the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium! Explore the hurdles of being a sea turtle in this fun-filled overnight. Find out how we are giving wild sea turtles second chances right here in Pittsburgh during this overnight adventure. For ages 6-12, accompanied by an adult.

Dine under the tent in our lush Rose Garden amid an uplifting backdrop of greenery and light, ambient music, and appearances by some of your favorite feathered friends. Feast on a delectable brunch prepared by Atria’s and finish with a stroll through the National Aviary to interact with some of the world’s most unique and colorful species.
