The Great Insect Fair   October 2, 2010, 10 am - 4 pm    State College, Centre County
This is really an AWESOME, unique event for kids. Â My boys always loved it! Â Especially the "Insect Deli," where you can eat chocolate-covered crickets and mealworm roll-ups, yum! Â The "Insect Zoo" is also always a big hit, featuring live insects on display, from the ever-popular hissing cockroach to the gentle walking stick. Â There are also bee hives to observe, honey tasting, face painting, craft making, bug collections, putt putt golf, cockroach racing, the BugMobile Talking Car, and vendors & food booths selling refreshments of the non-insect variety.
