Fireman's Carnival         June 13-15, 2013         Millheim, Centre County

The Millheim Fireman's Carnival will kick off with a Parade on Thursday night.  Of course there will be rides and live entertainment all weekend long.  Saturday will feature a Garden Tractor Pull at 10 am, and a Children's Pedal Pull at 7 pm.

Pocono Raceway Festival       June 8, 2013     Stroudsburg, Monroe County

The Sherman Theater presents the 5th annual Pocono Raceway Festival on Main Street, taking place the day before the first NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race of the season at the Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, PA. The festival combines spectacular show car displays, delicious food vendors, fun games for all ages (remote control car racing, anyone?), and musical performances on several stages.

Apple Dumpling Festival          June 17-22, 2013        Sinking Spring, Berks County

The Apple Dumpling Festival has become a tradition in the Berks County area for 60 years. It is considered to be a true piece of Americana reminiscent of the old time county fairs where friends, families, and neighbors meet and have fun.

OATS Bluegrass Festival    July 4-7, 2013    Benton, Columbia County

The 14th Annual Out Among the Stars Bluegrass Festival will be entertaining bluegrass music fans from July 4-7.  TThe Festival is centrally located at the Benton Rodeo grounds in beautiful Benton, Pennsylvania.  With the purchase of a full weekend ticket you are welcome to rough camp and enjoy the Independence Day weekend among Bluegrass friends.

Millville Firemen's Carnival    June 28-July 6, 2013           Millville, Columbia County

Nightly entertainment. Kiddie cars, swings, train, ferris wheel, and merry-go-round. Pet & toy parade on July 2. Gigantic parade July 4, 10am, and low-level Patriotic fireworks at 10pm. Games for all ages. Gigantic Fireworks display on July 6 at midnight.  Free admission.

Saxonburg VFC Carnival        June 10-15, 2013, 6-11 pm         Saxonburg, Butler County

This carnival holds a special place in my heart. Very special childhood memories of eating cotton candy and watching the Pet Parade here, about 100 years ago...
Open every night from 6-11pm, with matinees from 1-6pm on Wednesday and Saturday.

Triple B Farms Strawberry Festival          June 8-9 and 15-16, 2013       Monongahela, Washington County

Come to Triple B Farms for strawberry picking and a lot of strawsberry-related fun! There will be a strawberry pancake breakfast from 9am-Noon both weekends; and on Father's Day, dads will receive $1 off the pancake breakfast!  Some of the fun activities include a hayride to the pick-your-own strawberry patch, a visit from Strawberry Girl, and children's playground, farm animals, Liberty Tube Slide, romping rope maze, and an inflatable obstacle course for all ages.
